The DMWBE Directory - the only national online directory exclusively serving the MWBE AEC community needs your help. When we first started the directory we think we went a little overboard with detail - utilizing both the complete list of SF330 experience categories and the 2004 CSI Master Format. The feedback we've received is that it is way to complicated. As a result we stubbornly stuck with our guns and removed some of the SF330 categories and reduced the CSI Divisions to the old 16 Division list. See www.dmwbe.com

Apparently we weren't listening hard enough - so we are going to do a major revamp of the discipline and experience listings and use a lot more plain English so there will be no doubt as to what our lister skill sets are. Some example market experience categories might include: fit-up (or upfit), pre-construction services, demolition, CCTV, etc. We'll also ask you to help us decide which words to use. Again for example is it Fit-up, Fit-out or Upfit - all mean the same thing in different regions of the country.

For that reason we are asking listing firms and users to send us suggestions as to what disciplines should be carried and what experience (or market) categories should be included. You can do so by posting to this blog - or sending an email to kwa@dmwbe.com.
